Back to Age of Empires Definitive Edition. The whole 4K UHD 60 FPS sounds mighty, but it actually makes the game action look less realistic (sans the UHD graphics pack). Arrows flying out of castles at enemy soldiers look like slo-mo videos. The Enhanced Graphics Pack increases Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition to ultra-high fidelity resolution. Manually set scaling mode^[5]
Go to the installation folder (<path-to-game>) Right click on `Launcher.exe` and choose `Properties`. Go to the `Compatibility` tab and check `Override high DPI scaling behavior.` Set `Scaling performed by` to `System`. Do not choose `System (enhanced)` as it breaks the input.
